Investing in the Businesses Behind Critical Infrastructure.

Arthur Baker is a New York-based private investment holding company. We maintain ownership interests in four operating companies and play an active role in their strategic direction and long-term development.

Built on principal capital.

Arthur Baker has grown primarily through principal capital and direct ownership, not by raising institutional capital. That history shapes how we work. We invest selectively, hold for the long term, and stay close to the strategic decisions of our companies.

Our four companies operate independently, each with its own leadership, customers, and growth plans. Their capabilities are complementary, spanning the development and financing of large-scale energy, data center, and infrastructure projects and the manufacture of power, structural, and façade systems. Each company runs its own commercial operations. Where a project calls for it, they can work together.

How we invest.

Arthur Baker was built on principal capital, and we approach every investment as a long-term owner. Where an opportunity warrants it, we are open to selective institutional co-investment, strategic equity partnerships, and joint ventures with partners who share that long-term view.

  • Focus

We invest in businesses supporting the development and expansion of power, digital infrastructure, and industrial capacity, where operating knowledge matters as much as capital.

  • Principal capital

We invest our own capital. Our interests are aligned with every business we back, and our time horizon is not set by the life of a fund.

  • Disciplined capital allocation

We are selective. We commit capital where we understand the asset, the operating risk, and the path to long-term value. We pass on opportunities that do not meet that standard.

  • Active ownership

We take an active role in the strategic decisions of our companies, including capital structure, senior leadership, and major investments. Day-to-day operations stay with each company's own management.

  • Long-term value creation

We hold for the long term. We build businesses to last, and when they are ready for greater scale, we help put in place the financing structures that take them there.

  • Direct involvement

Our principals remain actively involved in strategic decisions and maintain direct relationships with key partners and counterparties.
